“In memory of King ~ a fine family pet and friend. ”

King Jones, 17, passed in to the arms of God, our heavenly father, at 1:30 am on July 9, 2014. King was a gentle giant who never met a person or other animal that he didn't like. He was adopted from Ft. Wayne Animal Care and Control at the age of 5, by his parents, Bob and Mary Jones. King's awesome personality was even appreciated by Animal Control, as they let him serve as a door greeter prior to our adoption. We thank God for the gift of King's life, as many times, we needed him more than he needed us. We are thankful for the incredible care given to King by Dr. Amy Totten and her staff Dawn, Jamie, Joyce, and many others at NIVES, as well as Missy, Michelle, and other staff at St. Joe Center Veterinary Hospital. These incredible professionals gave us two years with King that we would not have had, given his advanced age, cancer, and heart disease. We became nearly like family to these professionals, and finer human being do not exist. King was preceded in death by his siblings; Shelly, Sheba, Maxwell, Tasha, Dobie, and Katie. He is survived by his two brothers Fonzie and Toto, as well as his heart broken Mom and Dad, Mary and Bob Jones. Final arrangements were made by McComb Pet Services, who went above and beyond in their kindness and compassion in our time of grief. Until we meet in Spirit, King, we will always Love you.
