There is so much we could say about Kaylee…how beautiful she was on the outside with her shiny black head and perfectly round black spot on her booty, to her soft silky white coat and freckles all over her belly that grew in number as she aged. Everyone that saw her said how cute she was…but everyone who met her had something completely different to say… their perspective did not come from looking at how beautiful she was on the outside, but on the inside! Kaylee had the biggest heart for such a small little dog! She could always tell when you were upset and wanted to fix it by kissing your tears away. She loved unconditionally and never held a grudge if you didn't have the time to play with her or walk her as much as she would have liked. She was so forgiving and gentle! She had a cute obsession with squirrels, bunnies, motorcycles and horse & buggies! She loved to play with her toys, take walks with her Mom and long naps on the couch with her Daddy! Although she was initially supposed to be Mommy's dog, she became Daddy's little Punkin pretty quick and taught him how to truly love an animal! Anyone who knew Kaylee knew how special she was…she made people smile and brought life into every room her four little legs walked into. She especially loved our Friday morning prayer team meetings where she would get right down on the floor and pray with us. We would talk to her about Jesus and her eyes would truly light up and her head would turn! Mommy would dance with her to certain songs, but especially Francesca Battistelli's "He Knows My Name!" Every time the song would come on the radio, we'd dance around the living room just soaking up love from each other! She was such a little blessing to her Mommy, Daddy, sisters and a loving family for over 13 years! And she was a fighter…we almost lost her multiple times, but God chose to heal her, knowing that we still needed her to help us through the difficult times, like losing loved ones along the way! On July 4th around 9am in the morning, God called our Baby Girl home! To some people, a pet is just that…an animal that we feed, water and take care of! But to anyone who really knew Kaylee, knew that she truly was partially human…heart, mind and soul. She understood us in a way that no normal dog could understand their owners…it's because she was more than a dog…she was family! She was our child in every way and the pain we feel of losing her is just like that of losing a family member. Time may heal, but her memory and the love she gave us will forever be burned in our hearts! We love you our little Kayleebug and will miss you every day for the rest of our lives. Say hi to Grandpa, Aunt Fran and all those others that have gone on before us and let them know that we are coming in God's time! See you soon beautiful girl…you were and always will be the best dog in the world!!!
